I came across this a few days ago on another railway modelling website. It's an amusing short film, starring Buster Keaton.

The Railrodder

While you're on the NFB's website you should browse around a bit- a lot of interesting films you can watch for free, including one called "Train Busters" about RCAF fighters strafing and destroying a Nazi munitions train.

Thanks for that Bill, I'd forgotten how good the Railrodder was.
There was a documentary made about the making of the film, which I seem to remember was mainly Keaton arguing with the Director about what made a funny sight gag.

Apparently the NFB offers a DVD with both The Railrodder and the documentary film (which is longer than the actual film is).
