| I saw that, it's why I went looking for it and found a very good one, with a lot of steam locomotive and problably some of the first diesel engines. |

What an amazing piece of film and history. To see something like a Pechot-Bourdon "push me pull you" locomotive in action is incredible. Looking at the steep grades, sharp curves, and uneven roadbeds these trains had to traverse, it's surprising they stayed on their tracks. Those early petrol locos don't look all that old either - not a whole lot different than small industrial diesels today.
Watching the people in action was also interesting. There was one guy I think was clowning for the camera and another one who appeared to be just standing around and then started to help to push a load when he realized the camera was running. Some great facial hair, too.
Thanks for the link, Laurent. _________________ Bill Wray

| Yes it's amazing, must have seen it 10 times already, all those details, trains in action.
And yes all those people from that time, looks like we're traveling back in time. There's inpiration for Clive figure as well. |
