Tips and tricks

I decided to create this to finally control my points.On the other side is a layout diagram of my line.






Cost me £12 for the on-off-on momentary switches from the local model shop

Using point switches I'm going to use feedback lights lights on the board to indicate line direction.

Tested...and it works.

I like cheap...

The push and the bell are origional tram stock
The children have to push the bell button when they've changed a point.That way I know what's going to crash into what..

For those that know my line,the bell is where the shed is

My wiring would look like a fight between two ugly spiders.

Troy, I am a bit confused by this. You have lots of switches and lots of wire going into chocolate blocks but only 4 wires "out" , presumably two are for power in and the other two go to points ? So do all the points throw together ? Otherwise I would have expected a lot more wires coming out. Sorry but I just can't follow it at all.

The picture was taken at the testing stage with just a feed wire coming in.
It now has plug in connector strip wired to a central point at the top of the garden.Each point has 2 wires going to it,i.e. 8 points =16 wires leaving the board.
