| The barrels look better here than on their website. I have ordered some other varieties on e bay.
The figure looks good. I feel I've seen him before but where does he come from? |

| Finished wiring the main part of the module today, essentially there are three track sections to the module... The main track at front (1), and the rear return line(2) which is behind the back scene, these two are both linked to the rest of the MOMI circuit via banana plugs at the rear The sidings / loading dock track(3) which is electrically isolated and can be either switched to the main MOMI (to receive incoming locos) or switched by means of a DPDT switch to a separate local supply for shunting operations. I could get a birds eye view of the module whilst it was on it's back for wiring As I am making my return rail (2) section removable I've provided Cannon plugs/sockets in the front part of the module Here the return rail (3) baseboard is being constructed Rather than hinges I'm now going to attach it with coach bolts and wing nuts The advantage of making it completely removable means that I'll be able to integrate it into a small oval layout by adding two semi circles of R1 track at each end! Here is the rear baseboard finished and in place ready for track laying. _________________ Brian also blogging at www.frenchgardenrailways.com |

| Hello I'm back in the land of the living! Just recovering from a virus infection which even saw me overnight in "Urgences" in Hospital at St Junien the other weekend! As a result, the module hasn't been touched (nor indeed the garden railway which now has weeds knee high) and is in exactly the same state as last reported - all dimensions are the same! It's going to take me at least a couple of weeks to catch up with other immediate projects here including the swimming pool and horses, so won't have anything to report until at least June. Sorry for my late response but the last three weeks have been HELL _________________ Brian also blogging at www.frenchgardenrailways.com |

| I've done a bit more on the module... completed the building roofs and put relevant signage on the restuarant/advertising wagon.... Edit... The Zillertalbahn decals will disappear before the exhibition. _________________ Brian also blogging at www.frenchgardenrailways.com

| Also acquired a small diesel shunter to haul the barrel wagons and tweaked a Bachmann Driver to be a bit more French... _________________ Brian also blogging at www.frenchgardenrailways.com |

| Splendid Brian. Very cleverly done posters. I really thought for a moment there was actually a marque of Cognac called Brianb and I was trying to figure out how to pronounce the word. I have been working on my module too but very slowly at the moment. |

There was a BRIAND brand of Cognac and it was too much of a temptation to Photoshop once I'd discovered the posters...

The Gaston Briand is still available today but at 750 euros a bottle _________________ Brian also blogging at www.frenchgardenrailways.com |

| Nothing new to report! As the module is largely finished!
I'm still recovering from a minor operation in hospital last week, but very little still to do with the module, the only things before Chatellerault that I'm having difficulty with are the curtain for the front and painting the fascia.
I have no idea where to source the curtain and we have no needlework skills here anyway!
Daniel - I would welcome a visit from you to advise on detailing before the Exhibition.

Rien nouveau rapporter !
_________________ Brian also blogging at www.frenchgardenrailways.com |
