Okay here's my latest plan.

I've shown a posible tie up with Brian's both with a visual public connection and an add-on hidden link. this would as Daniel says allow for some interesting manoeuvers in an out of the public eye.

Brian if want to create a hidden link loop you would need to do the opposite as me in that you will needa L/H R1 point. I will need a R/H point and then I will make a separate board to attach behind. This is a little ambitious but feasible if you're interested.

For the visual link it will have to be on the left of my board, right of yours. I just need to bend my track a little to meet your alignment of 407mm.

I've started to lay track now and make some more modest progress, photos to follow tomorrow.

I will extend the right hand edge of my "loading dock" track to meet the Normand module.

Not keen on the hidden link! If you recall, I'm hinging the back "hidden section" for transport and was going to keep it a really simple straight through track!

Sorry Crying or Very sad

tu peux installer un aiguillage provisoire .
You can install a temporary switch.

No problem, it was a bit ambitious. I will install a stumped point on mine anyway, it may serve a future extension.

Je vais installer un aiguillage quand même sur le mien. Il pourrait servir pour un future prolongation.

Forgive my suggesting this Carl but...

As your building is demountable !

and

You haven't laid your track yet !

Why not move the building forward, out of the "hidden area" ie keep it in line with all the other MOMI modules whereby all the visual activity is to the front of the decor screen? Thereby avoiding all this complication of a hidden passing loop?

The building is removable...It has to be because of the weight.

I have now started to lay track but I shall keep the building located where it is anyway, as that suits me better operationally and maximises the surface area of the board.

This module as explained before will serve as a working diaroma itself.

The loop isn't necessary at all, just an optional extra to route hidden through trains whilst manoeuvers were taking place behind the scene.

We will just make sure that when through trains are passing there are no train or crane movements in the building.

Ah....Je vois que tu veux me construire deux modules. Cool Twisted Evil

C'est toujours intéressant mais pour l'instant j'ai un problème avec le poids du mien et je vais réfléchir.
